My first day of intensives mostly consisted of research. I currently have two interviews this week, so I needed to research Amy Latimer and Scott Snook to learn more about their background so I can ask more personalized questions. Most of the morning, I researched Amy because she is my first interview. Each person I talk to has a very unique background, and it is fascinating to learn how these top leaders got to be in the position that they are in. After doing some research, I could start to write questions based on what I learned. I then went back and edited my questions, took out the ones I did not like, and combined them with the general questions that I have for everyone. After I had my questions set, I wrote my second blog. Since I had my preparation for my interview with Amy done, I was then able to start to research Scott Snook. There was a lot of information about him, and since he teaches leadership, it was all relevant to my project. One thing I find very helpful is watching videos of interviews they have done because it allows me to feel like I am not meeting them for the first time during these interviews, and it makes me more comfortable. I want to have a name finalized soon, so I can create the cover art and start editing, but it is difficult coming up with something unique.

On day two, I had my interview with Amy Latimer. She was very nice, and I thought the interview went well. It was on Microsoft Teams, so it was different for me, but it worked fine. After the interview was finished, I started to do some more research on Scott Snook and work on my questions for him. My dad took a class from him, so I was able to talk to him about some of his main takeaways and things I could ask him. I also worked on my third blog. I was able to find another person to have on my podcast, so now I need to schedule a time, but it will most likely happen next week.
