On Thursday, I had my interview with Jaime Irick. It was good and unique, adding a new perspective to my podcast. After the interview, I started setting up a platform to help with distribution. There were a lot of great free ones to choose from, so I had to research which one to use. I decided to use Sounder. I put in all of the info I needed and then started submitting my podcast to different platforms. Right now, it’s on Tune In, and I am waiting for Apple Podcasts and Spotify to approve it. I then started editing my interview with Jaime and did a little with my interview with Mark. I reached out to some local people to see if they would come on my podcast. I also asked if they knew anyone that I could talk to. Hopefully, HOBY will have some connections.
On Friday, I wrote my speaking parts for the Scott Snook and Jaime Irick episodes. I also tried recording a new trailer for my podcast, which I like better. I uploaded it, and it will be the first thing people see on my podcast. I was able to have my podcast approve by Apple, so now it is on Apple Podcasts, which is great. It is hard to find, so hopefully, I can have more people check it out, and it will show up higher. I also submitted my podcast to Google and Stitcher. My mom sent me a podcast to listen to that was very interesting, and I am going to try to reach out to the person interviewed on it. After two weeks, I have made a lot of progress. I am excited for my last week, which will mostly consist of doing small things, but hopefully, I can get a few more interviews in. I had some technical issues with deleting my old trailer and putting up the new one, but luckily customer support was able to help.
Ryan, yes, I agree with you. You have made so much progress in two weeks with your podcast! I am so excited to listen to your episodes once they are released. I'm glad that this has been a good experiential learning project for you. I can see that you have been learning and receiving feedback from your mentor Mr. Moulthrop so that your podcast is as effective and informative as it can be for listeners interested in learning more about leadership. I like the cover art that you chose for your podcast. It's clean, easy to read and modern looking. It was nice meeting with you last week and I look forward to hearing about your last week on project.
