On Wednesday, I worked on my questions for Dr. Shankman and finished them up. I then recorded my Scott Snook intro and outro, so I could start finalizing the edits. It probably took me 15 tries to get the one I liked. The fifteenth one is definitely the hardest because you have to still sound enthusiastic and genuine. After that, I had my interview with Dr. Shankman, which went as well as I could have asked for, considering all of the issues I had. My computer told me it was low on storage and said there might be issues saving the recording, so I quickly tried to delete things while on the call and then tried recording. Halfway through, the recording stopped because it said there was no storage left, so I had to record on my phone. There was also a high pitch noise once in a while, which I will have to edit out. I don’t think Dr. Shankman was aware of all of the things going on during the interview, but I am hoping it turns out all okay. Besides all of the issues I had, one of the main things she talked about was reflection, which has similar ties to the points made in other episodes, but there were also new things. Once the audio was downloaded, I started to edit it. I started out trying to remove the high pitch without making the audio sound weird. I think this podcast will be the third one I post. The analytics say that yesterday there were 37 listeners and 54 streams, which is pretty good, but I hope that number continues to rise. I have gotten a lot of great feedback from everyone, which was very nice of them. Some have even offered to reach out to people that I could talk to. I am still deciding which podcast I will post next.
