I thought of the idea for this podcast a few months ago and jumped on it. Even before the intensive started, I conducted two interviews. I wanted to have examples to show people to give myself more credibility when reaching out to them, and I also wanted to get some practice. Over Thanksgiving break, I interviewed Brad Stevens, head coach of the Boston Celtics, and Mark Shapiro, president and CEO of the Toronto Blue Jays. I thought both of the interviews went really well. They gave great information, and there was a lot I could learn about regarding what I could do better with my interviewing. I also reached out to about 30 people over the past few weeks to see if they would come on to my podcast. I needed to reach out to them before the intensive, so I could have my interviews set up for these three weeks.  I have reached out to an array of people. Unfortunately, many said no, and many did not respond. I currently have two interviews scheduled for my first week, and I am hoping to schedule more. I conduct the interviews over zoom, and I have a nice setup with a webcam and microphone. The two interviews I have scheduled right now are Amy Latimer, president of the TD Garden, and Scott Snook, professor at Harvard Business School who teaches leadership. I am very excited about these interviews and the perspective each of them brings. I would like to have more practice and work on editing podcasts because I have a lot of great information, and I want to make sure I convey it correctly. Freshman year I was in Radio Lab as an intensive, and we created a podcast, but I still need to learn more. I am excited for this first week and to be able to start putting this podcast together.
